PMI PDU Eligibility for PMI-Certified Project Management Professionals (PMP)
PMI-Certified PMPs will be entitled to claim one category-4 PDU credit for each conference learning-hour that directly relates to project management and either touches on any of the 5 process areas of project management or any of the 9 knowledge areas of the project management methodology as defined by the PMBOK Guide. Partial-PDU credit may be claimed if only a portion of a session is relevant to project management.
PMI requires that the eligibility of a session for category-4 PDU is to be determined by the PMP-holder attending the session and PDUs-claimed are subject to approval by PMI (this applies to all category-4 education providers, not just the IT Management Conference.)
